In a personal injury case:
Used to detect internal injuries, fractures, and some brain injuries.

What to know:

  • Often ordered in emergency rooms after high-impact crashes.

  • Normal imaging doesn’t automatically mean “no injury,” especially for soft tissue or mild TBI.
