Concussion

A brain injury caused by a blow or jolt to the head, or a force that makes the brain move inside the skull.

In a personal injury case:
Common in car crashes, falls, and sports-related incidents, even without loss of consciousness.

What to know:

  • Symptoms can include headaches, memory issues, dizziness, mood changes, and sleep problems.

  • “Mild” does not mean minor; long-term issues are possible.
